They know that they make a full flavour tasty dish, always popular on the menu, and especially on a dark night with a roaring fire. Perfect for slow cooking and braising, buy lamb shanks online today and cook with some carmamelized root vegetables for a lovely rich classic dish, that is much easier to make than you might imagine.
One shank per person is almost certainly enough.
Cooking tips
Brown in a pan to keep flavours in before stewing in the oven for 3-4 hours on a low heat (170ºC/gas mark 2), in either a mixture of stock, herbs and red wine, or stock, herbs and real ale.
