Rubs aren't just for rubbing, they add massive flavour to food. There are no set rules, they are just pure spice and herbs so you can't go wrong
Steak Rub (Mild) - Fab on steak (obviously) but add to mince & chopped onions for homemade burgers, chilli or stew
BBQ Fire-Pit Rub (Mild) - The classic BBQ rub, add a splash of oil to 2-3 tsp of the rub, then add pork, chicken or salmon and leave to soak up those layers of flavour.
Chicken Rub (Mild) - Gives chicken & pork a flavour boost – try a pinch on your roast potatoes too!
Piri Piri Rub (Hot) - A blend of smokey & sweet paprika is given a kick with chillies & cayenne, perfectly balanced with oregano & a lemony, citrusy tang to keep it fresh.
Most Piri Piri rubs are packed full of sugar – but NOT this one! ZERO sugar & very low salt, producing a rub that’s packed full of flavour with none of the nasties!
Dragon Rub (Fiery) - Gingery, zingy & feisty, this is a super blend of chillies & spice to add a kick to chicken, ribs & more
N'awleans Cajun Rub (Hot) - A rich blend of intense, smokey & zingy spice, perfectly with the herbs and citrus zest to give a beautiful warmth without being too hot
Harissa Blend (Hot) - Inspired by North African spices, this chilli-based blend with mint, caraway, cumin & more is great for livening up any meat, fish or veg
Togarashi 7 Spice (Fiery) - Add a kick to ribs, wings, prawn toast, seaweed, tofu, chillies, stews, any meats, prawns, noodles, soups – in fact anything where you feel like a boost! Careful though – you only need a pinch!
Gunpowder Spice (Hot) - Incredibly aromatic & versatile. Using a good pinch is the quickest way to add a huge punch of flavour to food. One of the interesting ingredients in this one is organic black rice
Lemon Pepper - Zesty & warm, add a pinch to chicken or fish for huge flavour
Gourmet Salt & Pepper - Cook with it or add a pinch to season food & you’ll get that extra kick of taste from the flavour infusion, plus you don’t even need to use a grinder; just crumble a pinch between your fingers. As well as a better texture, you’ll get a pure, saltier taste so you’ll use a lot less too.
Lamb Rub - Rich, mild, sweet paprika is supported with the herby undertones of garlic, rosemary, thyme & just a touch of mint; the citrusy edge helps it cut through the fattiness of lamb & keeps it light & fresh, perfect for marinating a shoulder or leg for a slow roasting.
Moroccan Rub - Beautifully aromatic & earthy, a rich blend including cardamon (the biggest ingredient), turmeric, cumin & real rosebuds to give added depth. Definitely a winner with all tagines & slow cooked food, it’s also great as a rub for chicken, lamb or a robust fish before BBQ’ing.
Masala Chicken Pot - Simple and Quick, The most incredible curry in a hurry. Sugar-free, gluten-free, paleo & vegan too, so you can choose what to cook with it. With no fillers or anything artificial, A unique blend of herbs & spice create the purest, freshest flavour possible. This makes it ‘free’ on all the slimming plans we know of!
Mixed Sweet Spice - Can be a substitute for Chinese 5 Spice as it compliments the richness of gammon, pork & game. Add a pinch to porridge or popcorn too for a twist!
